B.BarNavi Exposed

December 31, 2008

Richard Silverstein's infamous anti-Israel blog, "Tikun Olam" continues, predictably, to attack the State Of Israel for defending itself during this current Gaza conflict. Lil Richard's sidekick, B.BarNavi (a Conservative "convert" to Judaism) made this observation:

Gaza Death Toll: 375 Palestinians, 4 Israelis

On December 30th, 2008 at 8:57 pm
B.BarNavi said:

“And finally, the air force undertook the heroic task of destroying the main prison, which mainly housed Fatah prisoners–who are ostensibly Israel’s ally–and accused collaborators awaiting trial.”

Will Israel finally realize the folly of its actions if Gilad Shalit ends up being killed by an Israeli bomb?

(They’ll probably blame Hamas for using him as a human shield anyway. Responsibility avoided!)

Will B.BarNavi finally realize the folly of his involvement in the far-left anti-Israel camp? Hamas has no intention of releasing Gilad Shalit. Has "Noah" correctly observed:

1-Hamas (ימח שמם) wants to hurt Israel by keeping his fate ambiguous. He is another Ron Arad. The only weapon they have is to kidnap soldiers and use them to black mail Israel.
2-Kidnapping a Jew, according to Rashi's commentary on the Torah is the actual meaning of the prohibition against stealing. This prohibition is punishable by death.
3-Sderot and the surrounding areas have been bombed by Hamas for years now. Why don't you criticize Hamas for having perpetrated these crimes against your "fellow Jews?"

It seems that you are condoning attacks against Jews. This leads one to think that you see Jews as an adversaries.

Sarcasm is your friend! I did not advocate Cpl Shalit be killed H"V. I'm just saying that as the government and the Jewish community in the US made so much hay of his capture, it would be ironic for the government to (technically) kill the man they placed on a pedestal so often. As for the soldier himself, it's past time for him to go home. Either Israel will negotiate with Hamas for his release, perform a daring rescue operation a-la Antebbe (don't you miss the times when Israeli spec-ops were effective?), or leave him to his fate. Bombing the shitload out of Gaza will NOT hasten his release.

And Sderot is still a non-answer. I've been in the presence of girls from Sderot - it's not fun to have explosions go off every few hours. But I'd be stupid not to see the same for Palestinian children, and frankly so would you.

I'm not against targeting Hamas for what they do. I'm against it when the action is completely ineffective and does nothing to further the cause of Jews AND Gentiles - but especially of the Jewish state. Have you learned NOTHING from Lebanon? How can you fault Olmert and co. for their failures, and yet still go gung-ho for EXACTLY THE SAME THING right now?

I don't see Jews, left or right, as adversaries. I don't see YOU as an adversary. I saw the death of the Hamas leader as a GOOD thing. (The only good news to come out of Gaza, frankly) YOU clearly see me and fellow left-leaning Yiddn as adversaries - just because we have the chutzpe to question the effectiveness of military operations.

And I really wish you wouldn't stalk me so. By that I mean you should really stop getting off at trying to "expose" me in one way or another. And I'm not Richard's "sidekick", I barely know the guy. You, however, apparently know me enough to create a sockpuppet that stole my name.

About my alleged "cowardice" you so often harp on: I really have better things to do than to respond to each and every one of your stalker-ish comments. Especially when you send them over a medium to which I cannot respond (txt-msging). I can respond to you if:
A.I have the time
B.I feel your screeds are worth the time.
In fact, I'm at a kick-ass gaming festival, which is a better use of my time that arguing with some loser in J'lem that's gung-ho for confrontation. (I'm one to talk; I'm at a nerd-fest of all places!)

"And I really wish you wouldn't stalk me so."
ASDL: If you remember-you initiated the whole issue by identifying me without contacting me first-you are a coward. Don't feign innocence. When you are wrong say you are wrong. Considering you respond to my comments, it seems that the discourse is mutual. If you hadn't gone on the offensive on "Tikkun Olam," I would have never given you second thought. Seems like you need attention, Barnacle?

"I barely know the guy."
You know him well enough to participate regularly and respond to me!

"my alleged "cowardice"
ASDL: Yep. You are. Silver-drek plastered my info all about the internet. You were an accomplice to this. Don't lie. I have since given all of my info out and you hide behind "B.BarNavi." Please. Don't give me this stalking non-sense when you initiated this whole incident and try to humiliate me with your pint-size knowledge of the the Jewish world. I also don't censor responses like Silver-drek. He never allowed me to answer fully because he knows I'll bury him verbally. He is your mentor in cowardice. Hence-sidekick.

'arguing with some loser in J'lem..."
Nice. Let's see:
from the Gemara:
Ktubot (110B)
The Rabbis taught in the Baraita: A person should always dwell in Eretz Yisrael even if he has to dwell in a city with a majority of idolaters, and a person should not dwell outside of Eretz Yisrael even in a city with a majority of Jews. Because whoever dwells in Eretz Yisrael is considered to be one who has a G-d, and one whoever dwells outside Eretz Yisrael is considered to be one who is G-dless as it says: "To give you the land of Canaan, to be a G-d unto you. The juxtaposition of the two clauses teaches us that "to be a G-d unto you" is dependent upon being in "The Land of Canaan," i.e. Eretz Yisrael.

The Gemara asks in wonderment:
And whoever does not dwell in Eretz Yisrael is G-dless?! But the Holy One Blessed is He, is the G-d of the entire world!-?-
The Gemara explains: Rather the Baraita should be understaood as follows: The verse comes to tell you that whoever dwells outside Eretz Yisrael is as if he worships idols.

You stated that my story parallels yours. So-you are parallel to a "loser?" Sounds like Self-Defamation to me! Enough said?

"that's gung-ho for confrontation"
ASDL: Again-you initiated this. You are the gung-ho leftist and aspiring convert. I came here 11 years ago-gung-ho was years ago.
