David Forman-A Heretic's View Of Judaism

The holiday of Succot (Booths) has come and gone.  As expected, someone from the Judianity community has spoken out against Torah Judaism.  Once again a heretical leader of Judianity has masked his heretical views as "Judaism."  David Forman, pro-Arab activist disguised as a "rabbi" has voiced his opinion-a collection of half-truths.
Forman, like Silverstein and other members of the Judianic community use familiar themes of the past to justify their hostility towards Jewish sovereignty:  Yiddish culture, excerpts from Jewish scriptures, and most significantly minority worship.  The author states:
Unless a peace accord can be forged within a very short time, given the policies of Israel's governments - Labor, Likud and Kadima - the idea of Palestinians securing any foothold in a state that they can define as their own will be nonexistent (even though they are also to blame for this sorry state of affairs). They will be restricted to their own brand of succa, dictated by an intransigent Jewish nation that is incapable of interpreting Jewish tradition and history with any sense of universal understanding - a message expressed on Succot by the offering of 70 bullocks as atonement for the 70 nations of the world (Numbers 29:12-38). This practice, reinforced in rabbinic sources (Talmud Succa 55b), is also based on a prophetic vision that all nations will join the people of Israel in Jerusalem for Succot (Zecharia 14:16).
It is true that the Nations were represented in the festival of Succot.  However, Mr. Forman doesn't mention that the reason why the sacrifices have ceased is because the Nations have destroyed the Temple and have abused the Nation (Israel) who was responsible for making them!  Furthermore, in the Blessing After The Meal (on Succot) which Jews make after eating bread, the fallen House Of David is referred to in the sentence below, "The Merciful One will erect the fallen booth of David."  This is a reference to the Kingdom of Israel and its future ruler (the Messiah).
סדור תפלה-נוסח אשכנז-סדר ברכת המזון
הָרַחֲמָן הוּא יָקִים לָנוּ אֶת סֻכַּת דָּוִד הַנּוֹפֶלֶת

Obviously it is important to be vigilant concerning the lives of others-including non-Jews.  However, the "Palestinians" have unified themselves only to inflict harm upon the Jewish population of Israel and to, simultaneously, degrade their own standard of living.  It is apparent to everyone that with the security wall and the death of Arafat, the violence, thank G-d, has lessened measurably.  That is the same Arafat who was award the "Peace Prize" of the Nations.  The same 70 Nations who were once included in a truthful, joyous, and harmonious ceremony have now, in modern times, repaid the Nation of Israel by rewarding a criminal serial murderer in a lavish false ceremony.   Should Israel be held accountable for its actions and those of the Arabs?  David Forman shows, that like Arafat's Nobel Prize, partial truths are total lies being disguised.

A Lie To The Nations-The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize

This week (Succot) has been one of surprises.  In "peace" news Barak Obama has received the Nobel Prize for Peace.  It is obvious that Norway is desperate to give Obama some steam he is missing in his efforts to bring Israel and the Arabs "closer together."

Nobel Prize On Loan
The award given to Barak Obama, on work that he himself has not actually done, has surprised even the left.  The Jewish left, including Naomi Klein, are as shocked as the rest of us that such a prestigious award has been given out on loan.  On loan?  President Obama doesn't come close to deserving such accolades.  Perhaps his election victory was in itself worthy of such an award.  The fact that a man of mixed heritage has been elected as leader of The Melting Pot-a pot that has a history of slavery, is perhaps the most remarkable and inspiring aspect of Barak Obama's ascent to the presidency.

License To Deal
What is the actual meaning of the Nobel Committee's choice?  It is an effort to give Obama a license to dictate to Israel what to do with its own land.  Just as Norway threw Begin and Rabin bones when they were willing to forfeit Jewish land to its neighbors, now it seeks to speed up the process by giving Obama a pat on the back for work not done.  Many people, even those I talked to on the left when I lived in Tel Aviv, are very skeptical of the Nobel Peace Prize.  After Arafat, a criminal and thug, was given this "award," people stop taking it so seriously.

Tikkun Fraud?

According to KapoDickie-an Adventure in Jewish Self-Hatred, Richard Silverstein has been posting comments to his anti-Israel blog Tikkun Olam under assumed names.  Talk about desperation!  Since Rich already censors many of the comments people write on his blog, it stands to reason that he isn't left with a whole lot of choices.

Kapo Dickie posting most of the comments on his Own Blog under False Names

The most common name of anyone posting a comment on Richard Silverstein's pro-Nazi pro-terrorism blog "Tikun Olam" is "Hasbara Buster." Invariably "Hasbara Buster" leaves sycophantic comments praising Dickie as the best thing to come along since the Sheikh Yassin and Ahmed Tibi.

Well, we have just learned that "Hasbara Buster" is none other than Little Dickie Silverstein himself.

What a surprise. Little Dickie approves of everything that Little Dickie writes.

Dickie Gets Nailed inventing False Comments on his Own Blog Site in name of "Z Street"

Dickie gets caught red-handed!!!
Kapo Dickie, a.k.a. Richard Silverstein, runs a pro-terror anti-Semitic pro-nazi blog, on which we have long suspected that he himself posts most of the letters there agreeing with himself. He uses such clever pseudonyms as "Witty Richard" and "Hasbara Buster." Well, a few days he posted a lurid item on his blog claiming that the leaders of the pro-Israel Z Street were leaving nasty comments on his blog in response to his infantile rantings.

Here is what Dickie alleges:
"Is it any wonder that after I wrote my first post ridiculing Z Street that
this sort of garbage graced by spam filter:
Z Streetzstreet@hotmail.com66.45.240.66
Submitted
on 2009/08/05

We at Z Street are offering for sale Richard Silverstein’s
foreskin with his penis still attached. It is our way of saying thanks to all
those who support our now campaign against treason and self-hatred."
Now there is only one little problem with this. The "Z Street" email address Dickie claims was used turns out to be located in Redmond, Washington! And guess who lives right there or very close to that! None other than Kapo Dickie himself! In fact Dickie has posted sets of moronic photographs that he took in none other than Redmond Washington. Go here and here to see them.

So the world now has proof that Silverstein is simply inventing the personas who supposedly leave comments on his pathetic little blog, all to get himself some attention!

StandWithUs Concerned About J Street

taken from STANDWITHUS CONCERNED ABOUT J STREET

StandWithUs has concerns about “J Street,” a new organization and lobby whose goal is to change U.S. policies on Israel. Though J Street claims to be “pro- Israel” and “pro-peace” and to represent mainstream Jewish opinion, we are troubled because their positions seem to undermine Israel and its search for peace with security. Their views may also contribute to anti-Israel biases and misinformation. Among our concerns are the following:
We are concerned because J Street echoes many of the charges in Walt and Mearsheimer’s The Israel Lobby, and denigrates mainstream Jewish organizations across the political spectrum.
We are concerned about many of J Street’s funders and advisors who have opposed Israel or have ties with Arab governments that have been consistently hostile to Israel. They include one board member who donated $10,000 and is on the National American Iranian Council, widely viewed as the unofficial lobby in America for the current Iranian regime. [1] Others include Zahi Khouri, a wealthy Palestinian businessman, who considers AIPAC and Netanyahu “enemies of peace” [2] Another J Street donor is a board member of Human Rights Watch, an organization that targets Israel [3] for unfair criticism, and was recently exposed because its “military expert” was obsessed with Nazi memorabilia, and because it solicited funds from the Saudi government, enticing them by promising to continue its biased investigations of Israel. J Street advisor Judith Barnett worked for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Trade, and became a registered agent for Saudi Arabia. [4]
We are concerned because J Street draws a moral equivalence between Israel and Hamas. During Israel’s recent war against Hamas, J Street said it could not identify “who was right or who was wrong,” proclaiming that “we recognize that neither Israelis nor Palestinians have a monopoly on right and wrong.” [5] We are deeply disturbed that J Street would equate the moral principles of Israel and Hamas, whose founding document calls for the murder of Jews and the destruction of Israel, and includes sections that echo The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
We are most concerned because J Street frequently endorses anti-Israel, anti-Jewish narratives. J Street claimed that Israel’s response in the war against Hamas was “disproportionate;” accepted the discredited claims of the UN Goldstone report on Israel’s conduct during the Hamas war; [6] launched letter writing campaigns to support a “60 Minutes” show demonizing Israeli settlers; [7] supported the staging of “7 Jewish Children,” a play with such strong anti-Semitic messages that the BBC wouldn’t air it, [8] and praised Jimmy Carter whose biased views have been so damaging to Israel. [9]
We are concerned because J Street lays equal blame on Israel and the Palestinians for the ongoing conflict, ignoring the long history of Palestinian rejectionism, the extremism of Palestinian organizations like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Fatah-funded Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, and the unfortunate results of Israel’s concessions for peace, such as the withdrawal from Gaza in 2005. We are disturbed when we read statements blaming both sides equally for the failure of past peace efforts, such as, “It is J Street’s position that the parties themselves have proven incapable of reaching a resolution to the conflict.” [10]
We are concerned because J Street frequently opposes the positions of the Israeli government and its electorate, and urges America to oppose center piece Israeli policies that have wide public support in Israel and the U.S. J Street opposed Israel’s war against Hamas, supported the U.S. administration’s call for a settlement freeze without comparable demands put on the Palestinians, rejects stronger sanctions against Iran, and calls for the U.S. and Israel to negotiate with Hamas. J Street seems to belittle or ignore official Israeli policy and the realities on the ground in the region.
We are also troubled that many Israeli J Street members are affiliated with Israeli political parties that were soundly defeated and marginalized in recent elections, and who seem to be trying to influence the American public and government to adopt their rejected platforms.
We are troubled that J Street claims to represent the silent mainstream of American Jewish opinion even though the polls that J Street conducted to prove the popularity of its positions were exposed as unreliable because biased questions forced the responses that J Street sought. [11] Other polls of Jewish American opinion produced substantially different results.
StandWithUs shares the deep concerns of Rabbi Eric Yoffie, President of the Union for Reform Judaism, who broke with J Street because of its position on Israel’s war against Hamas. He wrote that J Street’s views are “deeply distressing because they are morally deficient, profoundly out of touch with Jewish sentiment and also appallingly naïve.” [12]
We are all committed to breaking the impasse on the road to peace in the Middle East, but we should be concerned about a group that misrepresents itself to well-meaning people by falsely claiming that it reflects mainstream American Jewish opinion, and while promoting policies and views that threaten to harm Israel and undermine the arduous efforts for establishing an enduring peace.

J Street Jihad

taken from KapoDickie - an Adventure in Jewish Self-Hatred

Silverstein Panhandles his Readers for Spare Change

Raising cash to Go Jihad in DC:

Richard Silverstein is not gainfully employed. The two words starting with "J" that he most fears and despises are "Jews" and "Job". His working wife usually gives him enough allowance to keep him fed, but evidently she is unwilling to foot his bills to go attend the anti-Israel conference to be held in washington DC, Oct 25-28, sponsored by the leftist anti-Israel "J Street" lobby group.

Dickie would like to go there to promote his support for Israel's destruction and for "divestment." The wife seems unwilling to pay the bills for the trip, so Dickie is appealing to his blog reader(s) to send him some spare change.

On his blog this week, he tells his hapless reader(s) that he wants him/them to send him money, cause he needs 1000 bucks to go smear Israel in DC.=:
"I expect that it will cost $1,000 for my travel and lodging expenses during the conference. I would like to ask you, generous readers, to step up and help me defray my costs of organizing and attending this important panel. Please make as much of a contribution as you can afford in order to make our progressive voices heard at J Street and beyond."
So Dickie wants to become a Kapo for Hire? We figure he is appealing for the money cause his other schemes for raising money for the trip - washing car windows at highway intersections, recycling porn, selling cookies, carnival clown - did not bear fruit for this fruit.

Jesus Street

Lori Lowenthal Marcus, co-founder of Z STREET, has written an article describing the first annual meeting of the fraudulent "peace" organization "J Street," or more aptly described Jesus Street.  Once again another group of misguided peacenik "Jews," including the Tikkun Dungeon Master himself (Rich) will supposedly be attending.  Like Rome and it's ancient Uncle Toms, Washington has summoned all of the garbage in the "Jewish" world for the first annual self-hate orgy-dubbed-convention in order to decide how to punish Israel for being Israel.

J Street is selling snake oil

By Lori Lowenthal Marcus
It is appropriate that at the end of October, right before Halloween, a large gathering of anti-Israel organizations dressed up in costumes labeled "pro-Israel" and "pro-peace" will convene in Washington.  The disguises are new and from a distance they look so good that a shockingly large contingent * of our national representatives have been fooled -- and then lent their names to endorse the central public component of this deception, otherwise known as "J Street's First Annual Gala Dinner."

Throughout the history of language the meaning of a word evolves, sometimes becoming the polar opposites of the original meaning.  For example, back in the 1500s the word "harlot" meant a male itinerant jester or buffoon.  Today the word means something quite different, and harlots are only female.

And how about the term "snake oil?"  Snake oil was an ancient but apparently effective Chinese folk remedy used for conditions such as arthritis; snake fats and oil are high in a certain acid believed to have anti-inflammatory properties. Over time "snake oil" evolved into a disparaging term, and it now is used to refer to sham products represented by hucksters as effective.

Let's turn to the current political lexicon. What does it mean when one represents oneself as "pro-peace," and how do we measure whether something really is?

The term "pro-peace" means that one favors actual peace, that is, not war and not violence; it is characterized by support for whatever is most likely to lead to a long-term period of non-violent coexistence.

And what does it mean to represent oneself as "pro-Israel?"  In order to qualify, one would at least have to support the existence of that state, and to disassociate with and defend against those who want to expunge it.

On its website, in its literature, in the glossy mailings sent to government officials, universities, synagogues and individuals, J Street garbs itself as "pro-peace" and "pro-Israel."  But let's peek underneath the costume to see whether J Street really is what it claims to be.

Does J Street espouse positions that, given all the current evidence, are most likely to lead to a just and lasting peace?

For years Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeatedly threatened to wipe Israel off the map, denied the Holocaust as a trick to justify the establishment of Israel, and has predicted the end of Israel and of the United States.  President Barack Obama recently revealed that Iran has been lying for years about a secret underground nuclear plant.  Iran is closer to its goal of nuclear weapons than officials previously thought.  Obviously any entity so publicly and enduringly committed to death, destruction and deception is a major obstacle to global peace.  Surely any pro-peace organization would support every possible means of ensuring that this country, nominally headed by a highly volatile dictator (whose strings are pulled by fanatical  mullahs waiting for the 12th Imam to come up out of a well on Judgment Day), would be prevented from completing its race towards nuclear weapons.

But even after Obama revealed Iran's secret nuclear plant, J Street's position remains unequivocal: it is "strongly opposed to any consideration at this time" of "further sanctions" against Iran, and it is of course categorically opposed to "the use of military force by Israel or the United States to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure."  As the peace window is closing, J Street opposes swift, decisive action to prevent it from slamming shut.

Now let's look at whether J Street's positions concerning Israel are calculated to ensure a real and lasting peace between Israel and its enemy neighbors.

The raison d'etre of the terrorist group Hamas is the annihilation of Israel (and the Masons and the Rotarians -- who knows why?).  The Hamas charter says this in black and white -- there's no costume in use here.  Hamas's sole modus operandi is murderous violence and intimidation.

In January, 2009, Israel deployed a military response intended to eliminate the continuation of years of violent attacks by Gazans against Israeli civilians.  Surely the cessation of attacks on its people is a necessary part of ensuring a country's existence.  J Street claims that "it recognizes the unquestioned right of Israel to take action to answer acts of terror and violence."   But it came out strongly against Israel's efforts at self-defense. Better, apparently, so far as J Street was concerned to let the rockets continue to fall, as they have for years, on Israeli towns.

Perhaps J Street simply cannot condone a "stronger" nation imposing its will on one that seems weaker? That would be in concert with the au courant policy of cultural authenticity and moral relativism.

No, that won't work either.  There is one area where J Street comes down very harshly, very decisively against the local populations and on which it seeks to impose the will of outside super powers in order to achieve the results other than what the native populations wants.  That local population is -- contrary to what most would think given J Street's professed "pro-Israel" position -- the Israeli one, and, -- here we have a surprise! -- also the Palestinian one.

In its hegemonic insistence on the immediate creation of a Palestinian state, J Street is President Obama's self-described "blocking back" determined to impose a two-state solution on the Israelis and the Palestinians in the shortest possible timeframe.

The participants resist the creation of two states for different reasons -- the Palestinian leadership, both Hamas and Fatah, will only be satisfied with one state: a Palestinian one -- and no Jewish one, as they have acknowledged repeatedly, in public and in private, in Arabic and in English, and to continue its armed "resistance" in order to achieve that goal.

The Israelis will not agree to a Palestinian State until they are assured it will recognize Israel as a legitimate Jewish State, and they insist on continuing to protect themselves from the Arabs' armed "resistance," which is itself another costume, beneath which is  the use of weapons to attack all Israelis, including unarmed civilians.

Those are the reasons there has been no breakthrough in the "peace process," not because Israel's allies have applied insufficient pressure on Israel.  This imperialist view ignores the vital essence of each participant.  And J Street is pushing an approach that will guarantee a violent, bloody and long-term conflagration.  Again, the contrary of working towards a lasting peace.

So why does J Street keep claiming it is pro-peace and pro-Israel?  And, more importantly, what does that mean for people, especially politicians, who lend their names to such an organization precisely because being pro-peace and pro-Israel is being sold as the current miracle elixir?

Perhaps we need to turn to Jeremy Ben-Ami, the executive director of J Street, for an explanation.  He publicly stated: "We're trying to redefine what it means to be pro-Israel."  He neglected to tell us that J Street is also redefining what it means to be pro-peace.

Let's take Ben-Ami at his word.  But let's make sure everyone buying the J Street snake oil understands what they're drinking.  Congressional leaders who have linked their names to the snake oil salesmen should understand which definitions of pro-peace and pro-Israel they are endorsing.  Every reader should give those representatives some friendly advice: just because it's Halloween, don't be taken in by the punch.  Or the Kool-aid.  Or the snake oil.

Lori Lowenthal Marcus is the co-founder of Z STREET.

Ahmadinejad The Jew?

The Jerusalem Post has posted an amazing article proposing that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is actually of Jewish decent:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was born a Jew and converted to Islam, Britain's Daily Telegraph reported on Saturday.  The report cited a photograph from 2008 that showed Ahmadinejad holding up his identity card, bearing his former last name, Sabourjian, a common Jewish name in Iran. The Telegraph said that the name was "Jewish" for cloth weaver, and that the Iranian president's family had changed the name when they converted to Islam. "The name derives from 'weaver of the sabour,' the name for the Jewish tallit shawl in Persia," the report said.  It also cited experts speculating that Ahmadinejad's anti-Semitic rhetoric may be a kind of overcompensation to conceal his heritage.
If this is in fact true,  it comes to no surprise.  It has been pointed out on Taming Korach:
Your ruiners and your destroyers will come from you.
Isaiah (49:17)

This would be the biggest "break through" that could happen to this blog.   Ahmadinejad is certainly the biggest concern on Israel's mind these days.  If it is shown that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is actually "Sabourjian," a self-hating Jew, I wonder if Haaretz will then offer him a position on its writing team.  He sure fits the bill.
